Founder Startup Guy chose the “42fingers” name as a statement of efficiency: no more than 42 fingers (4 developer/designer types and 1 management type) are involved in product development. All kidding aside, we have known for decades that small teams of great people can produce killer products, and several recent start-ups like 37signals and Balsamiq have demonstrated this admirably in the web-based “Software as a Service” (SaaS) space.
42fingers joins this group of ultra-efficient business technologists who live to leverage state-of-the-art software-building tools to provide tremendous value to our customers while sharing our bootsrapping dividends as great values.

Startup Guy is a real person with real devotion to 42fingers, its products and–most importantly–our customers. He also has a “day job” with a great company, and he wants to keep this job until 42Fingers can pay the bills, so he is in “stealth” mode for now.
